The Alameda County Counsel, located in Oakland, California wanted to renovate its space in an early 1960's office building. The goal of the renovation was to maximize existing space and create space that would attract and retain professional staff. It provided an opportunity to enhance image, upgrade technology and efficiently use space. The design incorporates the spirit of the existing building while supporting the project goals.
